More black

I am really getting bad at keeping up on this. I am having an ever increasingly difficult time readjusting since I got back from Christmas break. Pennsylvania doesn't feel like home anymore. Not that it ever felt completely like home but now it feels less.

I miss Kansas.

I had to put that in print for anyone to believe that I said (typed) it. I wish that I could take my family, friends and coworkers from PA and drive them to Kansas. Actually I guess that the Kansas people would come here. PA is much prettier, sorry. This is part of the adjustment period I guess, that time of the semester that I need to evaluate my progress here and determine my next step. I have chosen and unchosen so many I start to loose track of the good ideas and the lofty ones.

Sleep would be a good idea but my kitten feels very strongly otherwise. So I sit at my computer at one in the morning trying to picture the rest of my life, that makes my head hurt so I think I will try the sleep thing again. It is my own fault for buying Zoey the toys with the bells in them.

That would have been the smart option...

When you lie to Oprah and she calls back the best solution is to not be home.

Pot Kettle Black

I was just checking my list of favorite blogs and silently cursing at the people who have not updated recently when it occurred to me that I indeed am black. Not that I presume that I am on too terribly many favorite lists but the ones that do frequent deserve more than I give.

I started school on the 12th. This semester should be a straight A semester. Mark my word, and for those of you who missed the memo that I had every intention of sending, I made the Dean's List for last semester. I am still a bit miffed about the one B.

I am taking Intro to Stats, Business Law I, Microeconomics, Computer Solutions for Business and Accounting I. Yeah, that's an exciting line up right there.

Work is going well, they keep paying me so I will keep on going.

Noodle and I have a new temporary edition to our basement, Zoey. She is a grey tabby kitten that we are keeping until a girl at work can get a new place. Noodle and I are old and find kittens to be a bit annoying. Noodle more than me, Zoey doesn't bite my tail. She does however lay on my notebooks when I am trying to study and she attacks the computer screen when I am trying to type.

She also plays with my
water bottles,
wads of paper,
pencils,
pens,
feet,
hair,
coats,
sheets,
phone cords,
computer cords,
finger nail clippers,
anything that does not out weigh me.

I came home the other day and the end table was uncovered and on it's side. I am not sure how she managed that but I am sure it scared her, she is scared of everything. Except for when I threaten to mail her to Chris. She is not a great listener. or sleeper.

Well, this should be enough to keep you happy for a little while. I will post again later.

Home Again Home Again, Jiggity Jig

Well, I am back in good ole PA. I left Kansas on Monday at 2:35 CT and arrived in Lebanon at 12:00 ET. My plane that was schedule to leave Charlotte at 7:15 actually left at 9:15. That was fun for me.

I came home to a beautiful new bedroom courtesy of the Trosper's.

I had to work Tuesday and Wednesday but Thursday I started school. This is going to be a challenging semester but it just so happens that I am up for the challenge.

I trip was great, time started to snowball on me towards the end and I didn't get to do all that I wanted to but then you never do right?

Well I will post more later, for now I am back and safe.

Kinda Pointless Entry

Everyone that reads my blog is either here or related to everyone here so you probably know that I am in Kansas and have attended all family related Christmas events. I have one week left and it does not seem to be enough.

David and Jaime came into town on Saturday so I have only had one day with him but next week he is all mine so I will make up for lost time.

I leave on the ninth of January but I am trying not to think too far ahead.

Ta ta for now
