Dude IKEA Rocks!

Today we went to the IKEA store in Philly. I am sad to say that this is the first time that I have been to Philly since I moved here. Anywho... IKEA rocks!!! We parked in the parking garage and went inside and ate lunch, Swedish Meatballs, then we spent two hours walking around looking at all of the cool stuff. They have a floor that is all showcases so that you can see how the rooms would look put together. I would show pictures but Trisha left her camera in the car. My next apartment will definetly be decorated by IKEA!!
After IKEA we went to King of Prussia Mall which is supposed to be the second largest mall. That was also very nice. I bought salsa from Harry and David and looked around Kate Spade. We spent and hour and a half and only made it part way through one building. I think you could spend a weekend on the grounds and still not see everything. Maybe someday we will try.
I am writing this blog in hopes that it will temp my family to come see me. Philly is an hour away, Baltimore is two hours and New York is three. No pressure just a thought!

Kenny and Renee sittin in a tree

M A R R Y I N G... oh wait that's not how the song goes. Country hottie Kenny Chesney and Renee Zellweger got married. They met in January, they are celebrities, she was dating a White Stripe, he is country... yeah I think this marriage is a sure fire hit!

In other more disturbing news, I was up at 7:00 this morning so that I could run before work... maybe this is all a bad dream.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers in my life. One day hardly seems enough to show graditude and neither will this entry but I will give it a try.

To Tracey, Val and Abbie who are beautiful, strong and brave women that have taken on the sometimes daunting task of raising twins.

To Jaime who is taking care of my beautiful nephew. Thank you the gift of David and for always sharing him with me.

To my Grandmothers who always do a lot more for me than grandmothers are required to do and who also have stood behind me and supported me.

To my Aunts who make each day a little easier.

But most of all to my mommie. I miss you. I am sorry that I will not be with you in person for Mother's Day. I am sorry that your package will not get to you on time. I love you and I am so proud to be your daughter, everyday. Thank you for giving me the strength and the courage to be on this journey. Thank you for always being my sounding board even when I didn't like what I heard. My life simply would not be, without you. Thank you for giving me my life and for letting me live it.

I love you.
